I am still looking for specific locations of historical hemp agriculture in North Carolina. I stumbled over a mention in the history of Robbins, NC that at one point in its history the town was named Hemp. Have no clue why!

I know I am just an ‘outside agitator’ in Pittsboro at the moment, but I would love to see a coming together of all these wonderful people to start painting a vision of a progressive built environment. There are so many cool ideas in the world of architecture working in tandem with the environments. Wouldn’t it be neat if Chatham farmers could help developers grow buildings, especially since we know development is coming.

This is an amazing community. Thanks for the rainbow portrait!

I was also jazzed by the week that has passed. I think we should invoke mandatory Florida Vacations for everyone in February.
