Though I regularly read several blogs of homemakers, I still struggle at times with the value of my staying at home. Having several home-based streams of income that are flexible allowed me to step up recently as a main support, when my Mom was diagnosed with a serious illness. I am so grateful for that. I do dream of day when I can let go of some of those streams, and focus more on keeping a peaceful, clutter-free home, instead of often struggling to pay bills. But, the payoffs are worth it. It is important work, keeping our homes places of sanctuary, and caring for those who need our time and love. Thanks for writing about it.
