Go often! I’m kind of jealous. That trout lily reminds me of my South African Silver Squill Leopard Lilies which have that same spotting on the leaves (totally different flower though). Missed the bloodroot. My favorite trail section is the light blue one , Rocky Bluffs trail. You park in the newer first parking lot and begin on the Shiners way, trail which intersects the bluff trail. On Tuesday you could hear the swollen river, made me feel like I was in the mountain. Lots of moyuntain laurel along the trail, which in mid May should be blooming.
