I love the aural image of your tea kettle, Linda. Bob’s birthday gifts are often magnificent. One year, he moved me to Belize. Once he gave me two birthdays by flying me across the date line from Guam to Waikiki. A few years later, he took me to Big Island to go horseback riding, and there are other equally-memorable gifts I won’t mention in mixed company.
