Nicaragua Observations

As the numbers roll in from the Asian Tsunami disaster, I am sitting on a small island. We have had some dramatic, high-sea-rain-lashing-sideways storms lately. These storms were violent enough to keep people from either leaving or arriving on island. The combination of the weather and news of a horrific disaster made me promise to learn how to climb a coconut tree.
