Okay, or Holiday Wish or whatever seems right. I find it ludicrous that people are even worrying about what word they use when they wish their friends and neighbors well this Solstice season.
So, that’s one wish – that people would feel okay about being kind to each other all year and not fret over which words they use to do so when we hit the solstice.
Another wish, the primary wish as far as I’m concerned, is for World Peace. I’m not talking about World Democracy, or World Capitalism, or One World Order, or World Global Economy or even Whirled Peas for that matter; I’m talking about the day when the most intelligent species in the universe (hello!?) stops infanticide, murder, slaughter, torture, genocide and other euphemisms for War.
And my third wish (because we like to think about things in threes, I don’t know why) is that more and more people will realize that more and more isn’t better and better. In other words, less IS more. In other words, if you spend your life acquiring money so you can acquire assets, most of which soon reveal themselves to be liabilities, you have just wasted your life.
And the lives of others, if it means you have to take out a few thousand of them to get your hands on their assets. Okay, Okay – I know. I can’t help myself. But, in case you’re wondering if that website with all the pictures of folks like Bob and I who want the world to stop fighting, is still there, it is – here.
