OUR LITTLE POT

LittlePotMy day in the kitchen begins and ends with this little saucepan. Donated to our culinary cause by good friends, it serves us all day long. The first thing I do after getting out of bed is turn on the burner to boil water for coffee.

I spend an average of 2 hours in the kitchen each day chopping vegetables, cooking beans, baking bread, making sauces, beverages, seitan, soups, stews, salads and casseroles. Many of these chores involve our hard-working little pot. I close the kitchen at the end of the day by filling the pot with water and setting it on the burner.
