Just scanning the headlines with my morning coffee while the blue jays scream outside and seeing the same ole, same ole. The top stories today are the sensationalized resurrection of an sordid murder that happened 10 years ago, endless death and destrruction in Baghdad and this little item:
“A six-month Associated Press investigation found that more than 80 military recruiters were disciplined last year for sexual misconduct with potential enlistees. The cases occurred across all branches of the military and in all regions of the country.”
When will it end?
The little voice in my head says, “After humans have succeeded in wiping themselves, and many of the other life forms on the planet from the face of the earth!”
On that note, I’m going to turn off my computer and go for a long stroll along the river with my best friend and soul mate, Bob.
