Communication: “I went for a walk on the beach”
Small Talk: “They are already seeing humpbacked whales in Lahaina”
Conversation: “I can’t wait to see my first whale breach this year.”
Opinion: ” I think thrillcraft should be illegal during calving season.”
Discussion: “What would happen if the whales decided Hawaii’s waters were too dangerous to calve in and just stopped coming here?”
